It's bird, it's a plane...it's a Fairy?!
Even though it was Super Hero theme at the event, the real heroes are the men and women who devote their lives in service to protect our country! We were honored to join the Toy Industry Foundation for a special day of fun with the wonderful Military families at Marine Corp Air Station Miramar in San Diego. We were happy to donate a variety of products to these deserving families, some of whom have men and women currently on active duty and away from home. Each child received two "toy tickets" they could use to choose a toy they really wanted!
Our Fairy spent the day doing photo ops, handing out toys, giving her famous hugs and of course "spreading love and joy".
Families were also treated to a variety of games, booths and yummy food throughout the day. We got the real treat, which was simply getting to spend time with these amazing people! Sharing in the often sparse time they have together was a heartwarming and great experience.
